A Weekend of Baseball

I have been off on a little road trip of sorts. My son made the State of Indiana High School All Star team so we headed 4 hours south for 3 days of baseball. The weather was nice and hot and the baseball was good. We had a really nice time. It helped that he played well. He was interviewed twice by the local paper (picture above) so that was fun.
I came home to the yard needing mowed and weed’s needing pulled, the toilet not working and a flat tire on my car. So life is definitely back to the way it was before we left. I have a weeks worth of MacGyver to catch up on and I am all caught up in this book I am reading by Luann Rice entitled Winters End. So I am hoping for some quiet time tonight to do a little tv watching and little reading.
