I actually sewed for a couple of hours this past weekend. And with that time I was able to accomplish these 5 words. Not bad considering this included picking out the fabrics. I have them lying on top of the green fabric that they will be sewed to. This is for my challenge quilt for our upcoming guild show. The plan is to have the quilt finished by the end of this upcoming weekend. I think I can accomplish that. These letters are really fun and easy. Please check out Bonnie’s site for Tonya’s instructions.
Yesterday my kids didn’t have school because of Presidents day. I came home to Mariah cleaning her room. She said that my organizing bug had caught her too. She had a pile of stuff for donation and more for the trash. Now I won’t have to do her room myself.
I don’t want to forget to mention that the quilt I showed yesterday was a picture of an antique taken from one of my magazines.
I must say that this is one of the very best blogs I've ever visited!

ReplyDeleteThose words are fantastic and I'm loving the magazine photos you've been showing. I need to do some of that organization myself. I had my house pretty well done (so I thought) two years ago -- but, well, yeah. I have a toddler and a husband. 'Nuff said.
