This quilt is wonderful. It has so many great motifs. I love the little squirrel at the top of the center tree, and the tasseled corn stalks on the border. I'm not crazy about the two bugs by the 3 interlocking rings, but I'm guessing they are crickets, which were a sign of good luck, right? I love the chips of wood from the tree cutting! So fun!

I was so lucky to see this quilt in person last year at the AFAM it has always intrigued me The cheddar background was just so bold. and perfect!
